Opening Reception – This Coming Saturday, The Visitor, Walking 1000 Miles through Mexico, 40-Year Retrospective!
You are cordially invited to an opening reception this Saturday, September 17th, from 1 – 3 pm, at the Center Gallery of the Multnomah Arts Center, for an exhibit of my most longstanding project, The Visitor, Walking 1000 Miles through Mexico, a 40-Year Retrospective. The Multnomah Arts Center is at 7688 SW Capitol Highway, Portland, OR 97219. There will be refreshments, premier of a new short film, a book signing, and a poetry reading by Walt Curtis, host of the poetry program the Talking Earth…

Honored and humbled to have this Summer received a grant from the Oregon Arts Commission and Ford Family Foundation to help support a 40-year retrospective exhibit of work from my project The Visitor, Walking 1000 Miles through Mexico! The exhibit will be mounted starting September 16, 2022 at the Center Gallery of the Multnomah Arts Center, Portland.

Stop by Blackfish Gallery, 420 N.W. Glisan, Portland, Oregon to see the LovePolitik exhibit if you are able! I am happy to have a work in the exhibit from my longstanding Arctic project, Thaw: An Arctic in Transition, and am happy to be showing along with many great artists including Paul Missal, Arvie Smith, and Angela Passalacqua. The exhibit is up through November 28, 2020, with in-person gallery hours of Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 12 – 5 pm. The exhibit is also viewable online.
