Skyscraper Light, Doha, Qatar, 2011, Inkjet Print on Hahnemule Fine Art Paper, 20 x 24 inches, edition of 10. One of the many beautiful new skyscrapers in Doha, the capital of Qatar. This building appears to have a light shooting from its top floor, in a solar abstraction, almost as if it has become a kind of gargantuan flashlight of many hundreds of feet height. It appears to not be real. But it is real. Qatar borders Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf and has the highest per-capita income of any nation in the world.
